We want everyone to be able to use averyintel.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or reduced motion.

Our standard

We hold the site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

How we check

Every change to the site is checked before it is published. Each page is tested on a desktop, in a dark color scheme and on a phone for every WCAG rule that can be tested automatically; for a visible focus on everything you can reach with the Tab key; for text that reflows at 320 pixels wide without scrolling sideways; and for motion that stops or can be paused. A change that fails is not published.

Automated checks do not catch everything. If something on the site is hard to use, please tell us.

Motion

The animation on the home page can be paused with Pause animation at the bottom of the page, and it stays still if your device asks for reduced motion.
